In a July 6 message to employees, Microsoft said it was cutting about 4,800 roles, about 2.1% of its global workforce. In April it had offered long-tenured US staff a one-time voluntary retirement option.

If your team lost people, how has the work been handled since? Did many people you know take the retirement offer?
