Source methodology
Source-backed updates are written from public news reports, company statements and government filings such as WARN notices. Each update lists its sources and the statement each one supports, plus what the sources don’t cover.
Company profiles (revenue, headcount, leadership and recent workforce changes) come from annual reports, filings and major news coverage, and show the date they were last checked.
Discussions are written by anonymous participants and are not verified. Reply counts and views show interest; helpful scores show how useful readers found a post. None of them show whether it’s true. Labels such as “Unverified information” are chosen by the author.
Found a mistake? Every update has a “Report a problem” button, and a person checks it against the sources.
