About WorkHush

WorkHush is an anonymous community where people talk about what’s happening at their company, from layoffs and leadership to pay and culture. Next to the discussions are workforce updates traced to public sources.

How it works

There are no accounts. You can read, post, follow and save without signing up, and posts show only an anonymous display name. They aren’t stored with your IP address or device details. Staying anonymous explains how to keep it that way.

Source-backed updates are written by WorkHush from public filings, company statements and news reports. Each one lists its sources and, where it matters, what they don’t cover. Discussions are people’s own accounts and aren’t verified. More in source methodology.

Who runs WorkHush

WorkHush is independent. It isn’t owned by, funded by or affiliated with any employer, recruiter or data company.

WorkHush is run anonymously, for the same reason you can post anonymously: so no company can pressure anyone into taking a discussion down. Anything WorkHush posts itself, such as discussion prompts, is labeled “From WorkHush”.

How moderation works

An automatic check stops posts with contact details or threats before they appear, and hides published ones when a report shows they break those rules. Anyone can report a post. Reports the check can’t judge go to a moderator once enough people make them, and a moderator reviews every hidden post. Criticism of companies and executives is allowed; naming private individuals, harassment and threats aren’t. The full rules are in the community guidelines.

Get in touch

Use the contact form or write to hello@workhush.com. Reporters are welcome to ask about the updates and how the site works. We can’t tell anyone who wrote a post, because WorkHush doesn’t store that.
